Great run, altough I found a few mistakes: -Clear Smog can never poison the opponent; -Struggle Bug lowers Sp.Atk, not Sp.Def. Bug Buzz does that; -Growlithe KO’ed Cottonee with Flame Wheel, not Fire Fang.

I'm just now catching up on Pokemon, I played Red and Blue with my little brother growing up and loved it. But I never followed through with the 2nd gen - onwards. I'm playing Gold for the 1st time and watching your playthrough as I progress. It's nice because it gives me a whole different perspective on the game. We use different Pokemon, different strats, and have different outcomes. For example I lost to the 2nd gym leader - Bugsy, but wiped the floor with Whitney and her cow. I had Bugsy down to her last Pokemon and only 1 hit left, with all 6 of mine still standing and all of a sudden she one-shot every single Pokemon I had with Fury Cutter. After that experience, I taught Fury Cutter to my Croconaw and used Bugsy's strategy against Whitney lol. I didn't think much of the Miltank until I watched this and realized how strong it actually is. Old videos I know, but I'm enjoying them, thx.

I have tried to recreate this run and it is impossible even with an emulator. The safari area you are in to get the trapinch is peak, not desert. Also the level is too low so this is definitely suspect.
